The Northwest
Family YMCA, was built in 1972 which is located near a busy
retail area and adjoins Sawyer Park. The facility includes two
indoor pools; one a six-lane pool and the second a warm
water "instructional pool", whirlpool, gym,
multi-purpose room, a state-of-the-art Wellness
Center, Teen Center, Child Watch area, Family
Adventure Center and all newly renovated
and expanded
Men's, Women's and Family Locker
Rooms.
The Northwest
Family also includes a seasonal Day Camp and Swim Complex
Center called Camp Northpoint. Camp Northpoint is 48
acres of land that is located 1.9 miles north of Latta
Road. The address is 249 North Greece
Road.
While the main
focus at
Camp Northpoint is campers during the weekdays.
Members can utilize Camp Northpoint in the late afternoon til
dusk hours and on weekends.
Our outdoor sports
fields are also located at Camp Northpoint.
The Northwest YMCA encompasses
Western Monroe County and Eastern Orleans County; and six towns
with a population of 250,000.
